Specifications:
A white or slightly yellowish suspension of highly purified Chlamydophila psittaci cells in isotonic sodium chloride solution with phosphate buffer and thiomersal as a preservative. If left standing for a long time, it forms sediment. The resulting sediment can be easily resuspended. The antigen has a titer of 24.
Usage:
For the complement binding reaction (RVK) for the detection of antibodies against chlamydia in the blood serum of animals and people who have come into contact with chlamydia. Antigen can detect antibodies even after a long period, therefore it is suitable for serological screening and surveillance.
